Survival Probabilities and Gross Returns

The Ferry Locks demo offers four exit choices, each with distinct survival chances at successive locks. Exit 1 has an 80% survival rate and offers a 1.2x gross return. Exit 2 provides a 75% chance and a 1.6x gross return. Exit 3 has a 66.67% survival rate with a 2.4x gross return. Exit 4 requires a 50% survival rate for a 4.8x gross return. Failure at any stage returns zero.

Stake Deduction and Settlement Rules

Your stake is deducted once at the start of the round and persists before any animation. The gross return includes your original stake. Payouts are computed in hundredths, with any fractional carry kept separately. Whole coins are credited, and the remainder is retained. Automatic settlement occurs at the chosen exit or end of the reveal, with no manual stop allowed.

Wallet Management and Reload Behavior

The demo starts with a balance of 1000 virtual coins. Stakes of 10, 25, 50, or 100 are available, with 25 as the default. Manual idle refill is only available when the balance drops below 10, setting the balance to 1000. Reloading the page discards any unfinished round without refund or resumed settlement. Controls are disabled while the round is active.

Frequently asked questions

How is the gross return calculated in Ferry Locks?

The gross return includes your original stake and is multiplied by the exit factor (1.2x, 1.6x, 2.4x, or 4.8x). Fractional hundredths are kept separately, while whole coins are credited to your wallet.

What happens if I reload the page during a round?

Reloading discards the unfinished round without refund or resumed settlement. Your stake remains deducted, and the round does not resume where it left off.
